DIY Wooden Christmas Tree Village with Woodpeckers Crafts
I think tree villages are a whimsical and unexpected twist on Christmas decorations. Bottle brush trees get a lot of love during the holiday season, but I recently found some really charming wooden pine trees through Woodpeckers Crafts that may just be my new favorite way to create a Christmas Tree Village. Today I partnered with Woodpeckers Crafts to bring you a charming and whimsical holiday vignette tutorial that is the perfect afternoon crafting project.
DIY Vintage Christmas Book Paper Chain Garland
One of my favorite items to thrift is vintage children’s books. I love the colors, patina, and graphics in the vintage pages. However, sometimes the books are not in the best condition. So to honor their memory, I love to upcycle them into paper chain garlands. For just a couple of dollars and an afternoon, you can have a very sweet and vintage inspired paper garland to enjoy for many Christmases to come.
DIY Farmhouse Christmas Village with Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint
Turn an ordinary Christmas house into a Farmhouse Christmas Village with Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint as the star of the show. I used Miss Mustard Seed’s Tricycle Red, Boxwood Green, and Farmhouse White to embrace the traditional Christmas color palette. I kept the design very simple to mimic a primitive farmhouse feel, and to showcase the beauty of the paint. Happy Christmas crafting!
