The Pink King of Christmas Tree: A Playful Centerpiece. Pink Halloween Decor
At the heart of our Halloween decor is the show-stopping pink King of Christmas tree, and yes, it’s as fabulous as it sounds! Instead of the usual dark tones we often associate with Halloween, we’ve embraced bright pink and orange. The tree is flocked with vibrant pink and orange pumpkins, which add a cheerful twist to the season.
I love how the handmade wooden ghosts and black cats nestled into the tree bring a bit of spooky charm, while still keeping the overall look lighthearted. These DIY wooden accents give the tree a personal, homemade touch, which makes it feel even more special. After all, Halloween is all about having fun, and these little characters add to the playful spirit.

To tie it all together, I wove in black and white striped ribbons, creating a fun contrast that gives the tree a classic, beetle juice, Halloween vibe. And, of course, we had to add a bit of glam with some disco balls peeking through the branches. The way they catch the light brings a little extra sparkle, making this tree a perfect blend of spooky and stylish.
The Mantel: Vintage Glam Meets Halloween,
Moving over to the mantel, we continued the pink and orange theme with a cascade of vintage pink pumpkins. I’ve always had a soft spot for vintage pieces, and these pumpkins bring a nostalgic, whimsical touch to the space. Paired with more disco balls and the same black and white striped ribbon, the mantel decor mirrors the tree perfectly, creating a cohesive flow throughout the room.
The combination of vintage pumpkins with modern disco balls gives the mantel a fun, eclectic feel—like a glamorous Halloween party that’s both timeless and trendy. And that ribbon? It’s the key to pulling everything together. It runs throughout the space, adding just the right amount of contrast to balance the vibrant colors.
A Bold Halloween Palette: Pink, Orange, and Black
You may be wondering: why pink and orange for Halloween? For me, Halloween is a time to be creative and think outside the box. While traditional black and orange decor is classic, I wanted to add a little more joy and surprise into our home this season. The pink and orange palette feels fresh and unexpected, but still has that playful Halloween vibe we all love. It’s a perfect blend of fun and festive, with a hint of vintage glam.
And the black and white striped ribbon? It’s like the glue that holds it all together, providing contrast and continuity throughout the space. Whether it's wrapped around the tree or draped over the mantel, the ribbon adds a crisp, graphic touch that makes the whole room feel cohesive.
