Colorful Craft Area & Playroom Design Board
We have lived in our charming, newly-remodeled farmhouse in the country for about a year in a half. I am finally tackling the attic space. I have grand ideas for the bare wood, short and angled ceiling, attic space. I plan to turn one half of the space into my children’s playroom and my craft area to hold my office and my craft supplies. Not only must the space be functional (everything should have a place to aid in organization), but it should be aesthetically pleasing to inspire play and creativity! Tall order, I know. But I am very hopeful, because we already spend a lot of time in there and I would love for it to be functional and pretty.
Today I want to show you my ideas for the space. I already own some of the pieces below (chairs and rugs), but when I saw the mural used in this homework station from At Charlotte’s House I knew that mural would be the perfect way to tie both spaces together. I want the space to be fun and colorful, and to invite creativity for myself and my children. I would love to hear what you think about my plan. I look forward to showing you how both spaces come together.
